Singer Taylor Swift recently suffered a terrible ordeal on stage during her performance at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
The star and one of her backup dancers on Saturday, June 28, had to think fast in a bid to get them off an embarrassing jam during her Eras Tour performance at the aforementioned venue.
The musician seemed stuck on a raised platform on stage while performing her popular song The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived, off her new album The Tortured Poets Department.

Videos from the moment which have fast gone viral online showed Swift and one of her backup dancers, Jan Ravnik standing on platforms several meters apart.
The dancer’s platform could be seen lowering slowly but Swift’s remained in the air.
Many people who watched the videos concluded that the moment was unplanned and somewhat worried Taylor Swift.
A confused Taylor Swift seemed scared, not knowing what to do next.
However, Swift was rescued by her dancer who walked over to the singer’s platform and helped her to get down.
An X(Twitter) video showing a close-up of Taylor Swift’s facial expressions had her flashing a smile following the stage malfunction before gathering the courage to proceed with her performance.

The incident caused debates online with countless fans lauding the dancer, Ravnik for handling the stage malfunction seamlessly.
“I bet they locked eyes and were like ‘Execute emergency maneuver,'” A random fan wrote on X.

A section of the songstress’ fans joked about the incident by claiming it was the latest installment of the “Errors Tour”, a funny nickname they coined following the several mishaps she has encountered during her Eras Tour, which started in March 2023.
In June 2023, Taylor Swift encountered a similar stage malfunction during her performance at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.
During the incident, the singer seemed worried as she waited for the stage to lower while performing her song Look What You Made Me Do.
Well, the lass dashed off the stage through the back door when things got thick and defended her actions by claiming she had gone for a quick outfit change before her next set.

It should be noted Swift had also suffered another mishap on stage before when she accidentally swallowed bugs while performing in a big outdoor arena.
Taylor actually inhaled and swallowed insects a couple of times during her performance at the Eras Tour in Chicago.
“I swallowed a bug, I’m so sorry,” she told her fans.
“Is there any chance that none of you saw that?” she quipped.
The same thing happened again during her recent June 23, 2024 show at Wembley Stadium in London.
