CNN journalist Larry Madowo has expressed fear over his life after receiving countless threats from a number of Kenyans who felt, rather feel he betrayed his Kenyan counterparts during the recent Reject Finance Bill protests in Nairobi.
Madowo, on the night of Saturday, June 29, shared screenshots of threatening DMs he has been receiving from a section of Kenyans who felt he is a traitor.
In one of the DMs, a random Kenyan made it clear that “they” will deal with Madowo perpendicularly for betraying his fellow Kenyan journalists during the Reject Finance Bill demos.

“Wewe umeanza ujinga. Tutakupasua. We will deal with you,” the person stated.
A worried Larry Madowo shared a screengrab of the conversation and captioned it with a “Hazardous” emoji.
It is not yet clear if Madowo felt threatened with the DMs or not but his caption somewhat confirmed he is not.
The latest turn of events comes barely hours after a section of Kenyan scribes who were on ground covering the demos claimed Madowo did them dirty.

According to a video that has fast gone viral, Madowo denounced some Kenyan journalists by claiming he was not with them during the charged up demos when questioned by cops on the same.
Some journalists accused the former NTV news presenter of supporting their suppression during the demos.
It should be noted that Madowo is said to have denounced a group of journalists on ground during the demos, leading to their smacking by cops.

While some Kenyans blasted Larry for allegedly throwing his Kenyan counterparts under the bus, many heaped praises on him for amplifying the evils Kenyan police officers did to demonstrators to the wider worldwide audience.
