Nairobi-based Coast artiste Masauti is one of the most popular Kenyan musicians who have always stayed clear off controversy.
The singer has over the year managed to successfully veer off scandals that could hurt his music career.
However, Masauti recently found himself in a tight spot after unveiling his new hairstyle.

Being a creative, Masauti has been experimenting with different hairdos including Afros and cornrows.
Well, the Ipepete hitmaker recently decided to try out something different with his hair, a move became detrimental to his brand.
Masauti, through his Insta-stories updates recently posted a photo of himself showing off his long hair.
The star spotted long Afro which had gone through blow drying to soften and make it flow downwards easily.

Looking at the photo of Masauti showing off his new hairdo one could confuse him with a lady since most women are known to do their hair in similar style.
Some local blogs took screenshots of the photo and shared widely on different social media platforms, specifically Facebook.
Netizens who interacted with the photo were divided as some took to praising him for spotting such a cool hairstyle.
However, many picked issue with him over his new hairstyle.
Quite a number of social media users, including a section of his fans bashed him for picking a lady-Like hairstyle.

Some went as far as insinuating he may be gay and was coming out of the closet slowly.
Masauti had not responded to his critics as at the time of filing this report.
It should be noted that musician has been busy on a countrywide music tour alongside Watanashati Classic signed singer Jaysoul Highpitch.
The two have so far toured a number of cities including Meru and Nairobi with Nakuru being their next stop for their upcoming musical duet on stage.
