TV47 show host Betty Kyallo has waded into controversy barely two months after landing a new lover.

Betty Kyallo, who recently dropped hints of dating a man who is way younger than her has been exposed for escaping from a hotel in Diani without clearing her bills.

According to Edgar Obare who broke the news Betty and her new toy boy are said to have checked into the Diani-based hotel for a baecation and enjoyed the best moment of their lifetimes.

However, Betty and her lover allegedly checked out after a couple of days in the hotel without paying their bills.

Reports reaching MGAHAWANI.com Newsdesk indicate that the hotel’s management reported the matter to police in a bid to get what is owed to them.

It is alleged that DCI officers in Diani launched investigation and Betty got wind of the same.

In a bid to get herself and her man out of trouble, Betty allegedly tried befriend one of the officers by throwing herself to him.

Edgar Obare reported that the journalist used all the tricks in her sleeves to befriend the officer, aiming at convincing him to stop the investigation.

However, the officer is said to have evaded the scribe’s advances and escalated investigations.

It is not yet clear if Betty has been summoned by police or not but sources intimate to the screen gem hissed that she is living in fear following the sudden turn of events.

Just recently, Betty made a comeback on TV after landing a job at TV47.

With her new job, most of her fans believed all her financial quandaries were over.

However, the aforementioned seems to be far from reality if the Edgar Obare’s expose is anything to hold water.
