Vioja Mahakamani actor Alphonse Makokha ‘s wife Wambui has finally been buried days after her sad demise.
MGAHAWANI.com understands Makokha’s wife was laid to rest on Thursday, June 13, at the Lang’ata Cemetery.
The burial ceremony saw the attendance of many notable personalities and other Kenyans who turned up to pay their last respect to the actor’s late wife.

Emotions ran high during the burial ceremony with Makokha breaking down uncontrollably while giving his tribute to the mother of his children.
Speaking at the Lang’ata Cemetery, Makokha disclosed that he loved his wife so much that he will greatly miss her.
“Nitakumiss sana dem yangu, sijui nitakuwa napiga story na nani, ni kunoma.” Makokha said in between sobs.
The moment was so emotional for Makokha who had to cut short his tribute to wife as tears filled his eyes.
Wambui’s burial comes barely a fortnight after her demise.
As earlier reported by a cross section of the Kenyan media, the actor’s wife succumbed to stage four cancer while undergoing treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
News of her death were first made public by Makokha’s best friend, Ondiek Nyuka Kwota through his official social media pages.
The sad news broke the hearts of many Kenyans, specifically Vioja Mahakamani’s fans who took to different social media platforms to condole with Makokha and his family.
The actor, speaking during an earlier interview with Tuko News revealed his wife died while he was on his way to work.
Makokha thanked his friends and colleagues for breaking the sad news to him with high level of grace.

“I was going to look for my daily bread. It’s a wound that will live with me forever. I went to work and told my daughter to take care of her mum. Before we got to where we were going, she was no more,” he disclosed.
The interview was very emotional as the actor could not hold back tears while recalling how he was strained financially while trying to take care of his wife, who had battled cancer for over 18 years.
