The Madaraka Festival 2024 US music tour has suffered a major blow after one of the headliners, Nyashinski and his team confirmed they will not be part of the entourage.
MGAHAWANI.com has learnt Nyashinski has forfeited his contribution towards the tour due to immigration issues.
The revered rapper on the night of Sunday, May 19, disclosed he will not be part of the Madaraka Festival US music tour after failing to secure visas for himself and his team.

In a social media post sighted by this site, Nyashinski revealed that Madaraka Festival organisers could not secure their visas to the US, therefore cancelling their participation in the festival and subsequent tour.
According to the Hayawani crooner, Madaraka Festival organisers tried everything in their power to secure them the visas in vain.
The rapper reiterated that his team and himself were psyched up for the tour and were ready to entertain Kenyans in diaspora.
However, they could not travel to the US due to visa issues, rendering their fans a disappointed lot.
The artiste took the opportunity to apologise to his fans in the US who were looking forward to his performances in a couple of states in America.

“We regret to announce that due to factors beyond our control, we will be unable to perform at the USA Madaraka Festival 2024. Despite the diligent efforts of the organisers, they were unable to secure visas for our team’s entry into the US. We had very much looked forward to the tour and we sincerely apologise for all the inconvenience this has caused.” Wrote Nyashinski.
The latest development irked countless Kenyans in the US who were looking forward to his unrivaled shows.
MGAHAWANI.com understands the Madaraka Festival 2024 music tour was scheduled to kick off in Dallas on May 25 2024, and culminate in Seattle on June 18 2024.

Madaraka Festival had a lineup of top music acts such as Eddy Kenzo, Savara, Naomi Achu, Simon Javan Okelo, Dynamiq, with Nyashinski headlining the entire tour.
Organisers of the Madaraka Festival, led by Javan Okelo have in the past few years been hosting the tours in a bid to fulfil their commitment to community development.
A portion of proceeds from all the previous Madaraka Festival tours has been supporting positive change for over 3.5 million people in the US and Africa, through the One Vibe Africa initiative.
