Grip Music N Pictures signee Marsh Mashavu has added his voice to the ongoing fight for better governance in Kenya.

The 12-Year-Old rapper recently decided to join his Generation Z brothers and sisters in shunning the many evils perpetrated by the Kenya Kwanza government led by President Ruto.

For close to a month now, Gen Zs have been taking to the streets to campaign for the rejection of the 2024 Financial Bill.

Many used different mediums to pass their messages including street demonstrations, social media campaigns and even using art to spearhead the aforementioned.

Joining the list of millions of Gen Zs calling for accountability in Ruto’s government, Marsh Mashavu dropped a heavy freestyle rap highlighting the plight of many Kenyans.

The young Kenyan rapper hit the studio and came out with a freestyle rap dubbed Gen Z Anthem, through which he shunned the many inconsistencies exhibited by the Kenya Kwanza government.

Marsh Mashavu may be only 12 but his lyricism impressed many Kenyans who could not help but laud him for hitting the nail on the head.

In his freestyle, Marsh Mashavu called on KK government to do away with the many methods used to govern Kenyans.

From corruption, to squandering public funds to police brutality and the likes, Marsh Mashavu used his rap skills highlight the evils, calling for accountability from elected political leaders.

Countless netizens who came across the young rapper’s freestyle video online echoed his lyrics as they parted him on the back for exhibiting such bravery.

It should be noted, Marsh is one of the few Kenyan artistes who hit the studio and used their talents to call out the KK government for trying to take the country to the gutters.
