Comedian and content creator Eddie Butita is currently counting loses after a section of Kenyans turned against him.
The comic who has been thriving on digital media lost over 10,000 subscribers in just 48 hours for not joining fellow youths in shunning the Kenya Kwanza government and rejecting the Finance Bill 2024.
MGAHAWANI.com has learnt most of those who unsubscribed from Eddie Butita’s YouTube page did so to punish him for betraying fellow youths.

According to a multitude of Kenyans online, Butita has been in bed with the government which has been taking Kenyans through hell with over taxation.
It should be noted Butita remained tight lipped both online and offline and did nothing to use his influence to call for the rejection of the Finance Bill 2024.
The content creator who innitially boasted of over 360,000 YouTube si is currently sailing with only 350,000 subscribers after over 10,000 of them ditched him.

The beef between Kenyans and Butita was so intense that he trended at number one on Twitter for the better part of Saturday, June 22, with many netizens dragging him on end.
A host of Kenyans who bashed Butita held that they felt betrayed by someone they have always supported.

The drop in the number of his YouTube subscribers has proven to be a major hiccup on his side since he has been pushing his shows and projects through the platform and social media.
Netizens could not keep calm after it dawned on then that Butita has started ‘sleeping’ with the Kenya Kwanza government a long time ago.
Just recently, Butita was among creatives who accompanied President William Ruto and his his family to the US for an official state visit.
