Twitter noisemaker Maverick Aoko has expressed her disappointment at legendary musician Eric Wainaina over his choice of dressing during a recent Talanta Hela event.
MGAHAWANI.com understands the Nchi Ya Kitu Kidogo hitmaker recently graced the 100 Days To Paris Olympics celebration held in Nairobi.
At the event, Wainaina rubbed shoulders with athletics giants such as Paul Tergat and Eliud Kipchoge.

While his photo dump impressed some of his fans online, many netizens had different feelings.

Quite a multitude, including Twitter sensation Maverick Aoko were thrown aback by Eric’s outfit and duly aired their opinions on different social media platforms.
Aoko, through her Twitter page posted a photo of Wainaina in an overflowing black gown and went ahead to question his sexuality.
The social media commentator wanted to understand why Eric, a seemingly straight man rocked a lady-like outfit to a public event.
Aoko wondered if the musician rocked the outfit because he had morphed into a homosexual.

“I know midlife crisis is not a figment of fecund minds. And I’m the least qualified person to judge, But what the heck in the name of “Nchi ya Kitu kidogo” is this? What happened to this nigga? I’m all for being iconoclast et al, but come on! Did we just lose another brother?” Aoko posed.
A section of netizens camped in the comments section of Aoko’s post to insinuate that the singer is gay.
Others claimed he did not rock the outfit in vain as it comes with millions of dollars in sponsorship from donors abroad.
