The musician, during his recent visit in Nigeria made a stop at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) where he was moved by the plight of patients struggling to pay their medical bills.

Being a creative blessed with a big heart, the star decided to clear the outstanding medical bills for every patient admitted at the aforementioned hospital.
His noble gesture touched many people including the hospital’s management who noted his act of kindness will have a profound impact on the patients and their respective families.
“We are deeply grateful to Burna Boy for his selfless act,” Professor Ugboma of UPTH said.
“This gesture not only alleviates the financial burden off our patients, but also restores their hope and dignity,” Ugboma added.
Burna Boy’s move was greatly appreciated by patients at the hospital who expressed their disbelief and amazement at the musician’s kindness.
“I was so worried about how I was going to pay my bills. But now, that ks to Burna Boy, I can now focus on recovering without any stress.” Joy Williams, a beneficiary of Burns’s philanthropy disclosed.
